Welcome family and friends to our Blog!!! Since this is our first attempt at blogging (and when I say "our" I mean me, Courtney), we thought it would be fun to do something silly, like have a contest!
So, who wants to play "Name That Blog"? We would like you to give us some suggestions as to what to name our family's blog! Sounds crazy, yes, but remember this is a big deal! And why are we doing this you ask? Because there are soooo many blogs out there and soooo many bloggers with our same last name, or first names for that matter, that it's hard to come up with something original. We are turning to the people we love and trust most in this world to help us out...IF you're up for the challenge that is!
If you want to play, here's what you do...
1. THINK very carfeully...let those creative juices flow!
2. Post your suggestions to comments along with a short description as to how you came up with your idea.
3. You may post as many suggestions as you like.
4. You may ask questions (nothing too personal) concerning the details of our family (ie) names, our favs, what we do together, ect.
On October 20th, 2009, we will be choosing the suggestion that we feel would be the perfect OFFICIAL name for our blog! The person who submits the winning blog name will be entitled to a dozen of Courtney Porter's Famous Cowboy Cookies (or YOUR favorite flavor)!!! And will be given the highest honor of being recognized as the Porter Family's offical blog name winner! We said this would be a silly contest, so hope you have fun with this - We sure will! Can't wait to see your suggestions!
